Cobalt Elite film emulations
In the past, our Kodak, Silver and Fuji film packs were renowned for capturing the unique mood of film emulsions. However, we have now taken our emulation to the next level with our high-end emulation pack. This isn’t just a mood anymore – it’s a scientific reproduction of your favourite film emulsions, brought to life on digital. Our team has spent months meticulously reducing every manageable variable in the acquisition process to ensure that we are able to offer a true emulation of these legendary film packs on digital as you can see here. We are proud to be the first in the market to offer this level of accuracy and authenticity in our digital emulations. With our high-end emulation pack, you can now experience the look and feel of your favourite film emulsions, without the hassle of traditional film processing and you can also mix digital and analogue shooting while keeping the same colour output.
For all available film emulations, we have captured both accurate colourimetry and contrast curve, which provides a higher initial contrast compared to the original raw file, as we aim to emulate the lower dynamic range of film. Expect almost final results with just the selection of your chosen profile if you want to enjoy accurate emulation.
Alternatively, make adjustments to the raw file while keeping in mind that you are using a Cobalt profile designed to maintain colour consistency even after intense post-production adjustments.
Our latest update offers both linear and filtered versions, catering to photographers with different editing preferences and needs.
For those seeking advanced editing capabilities, the linear versions provide a seamless experience in a professional editing room, allowing for precise adjustments and customization.
On the other hand, if you desire to replicate the distinctive look and feel of a film camera with a colour filter attached to the lens, the filtered versions are perfect for you. These versions accurately emulate the results obtained from such a setup, giving your photographs an authentic and nostalgic touch.

Fuji Neopan Acros II 100
Fuji Neopan Acros II was a black-and-white film produced by Fujifilm and was known for its fine grain, excellent sharpness, and wide tonal range. The film was popular among photographers who appreciated its ability to capture intricate details and produce images with a classic, timeless look.
One of the key aspects of this film was the film’s tonal range. Neopan Acros II had the capability to render subtle variations in tones from pure black to bright white, allowing photographers to create images with a wide range of contrasts. This tonal flexibility made the film suitable for a variety of lighting conditions and subjects, contributing to its versatility.
It’s worth noting that Neopan Acros II, being a black-and-white film, allowed photographers to focus on composition, lighting, and the interplay of shapes and textures without the distraction of colour. This simplicity often led to powerful and emotionally evocative photographs.
Unfortunately, Fujifilm announced the discontinuation of Neopan Acros II in 2018, which was met with disappointment from many film enthusiasts and photographers who valued its unique characteristics. If you’re interested in shooting with this film, you might need to look for existing stock from retailers or online marketplaces.
